Hi there!

Who I am?

I am Sarah "Freedz" Conlon, a German artist who creates whimsical and nostalgic artwork, with a particular passion for illustrating board games. I reside in a cozy log cabin nestled in the green mountains of Vermont. My journey into digital illustrations began during the lockdown in March 2020, when I taught myself how to draw digitally using Procreate on my iPad.

When I am not drawing or playing board games, I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, and going hiking with my dog.

What do I do?

I have illustrated a children's book and created numerous custom stickers, book covers, keychains, posters, and board games. I have brought my creativity to game nights by illustrating whimsical things such as a DM screen for NTSD Gaming which was funded on Kickstarter within 12 minutes, as well as meeples, tiles, and cards for games for 25th Century Games and B5 Productions.

Most notably, I am the illustrator for the amazing upcoming game "Gems of Iridescia" by Rock, Stone & Dice.

Since then, I have been drawing (almost) daily, filling the canvas with cute, fantastical creatures and imaginative scenes. My style is influenced by steampunk aesthetics, graphic novels, and 2D video games and my art has been described as "nostalgic and whimsical" and "upbeat melancholy" yet "charming and humorous."

Would you agree? :)
